Abstract

The mosque is known as the first base of growth and development in Islam and a coherent point for the dissemination of religious teachings, a place of governance and functions related to the Islamic society. The upcoming research, in the form of a library and with the aim of explaining the functions of this holy institution during the reign of Hazrat Ali, by citing reliable historical and hadith sources, briefly examines the role and place of the mosque in the Alevi government, and by counting its religious and scientific functions , cultural, social, educational and educational, service and support, people-oriented and military mobilization, governance, judicial and advertising and media has drawn conclusions. The main focus and approach of this article, contrary to existing researches on the issue of the location of the mosque, especially leads to the limited period of the reign of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (peace be upon him) and the examination of the life and attitude of that noble person in dealing with the mosque. The result of the examination of historical statements and authentic sayings and traditions about this issue clearly confirms our assumption that the Alavi government is identical and closely related to the mosque.
