Abstract

A group of philosophers considered four principles for ethics: (wisdom, chastity, courage, justice). The moderation of each of the three powers of the human soul and soul has been considered one of the moral virtues, which they have called "wisdom", "chastity" and "courage" respectively. And when the power of lust and anger is at the disposal of the power of perception and purity of good and bad, "justice" is achieved, which is the fourth principle. However, it should be said that the four principles that the ancients considered for ethics are actually a supplement to what the ancient Greek philosophers had and cannot be considered as a comprehensive model for dividing moral traits, although compared to many It is true of moral issues.
